2009 Spring Rec Tournament – May 16/17 – INFO
REMINDER – All coaches need to check in at the main info tent at least one hour before their first game. An additional check in time has been scheduled for Friday evening, May 15, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Beat the rush and check in early.
Rosters will be verified and frozen at check in, and may be checked by referees at any game. Each roster must include the name of the player, and their jersey number.
ONLY recreational league players are allowed in this tournament.
Coaches – Please review the Tournament Rules that were handed out with your registration form. There are a few small, but important changes. The rules have been posted with the revised schedules.
Trophies will be awarded to the first place team in each tournament age grouping. Players not on first place teams will receive participation medals.
The tournament age groupings are as follows: (ONLY for teams that registered and paid their tournament entry fee)
U5B – Under 5 boys teams
U5-6G – Under 5 and Under 6 girls teams
U6B – Under 6 Boys teams
U7G – Under 7 Girls teams
U7B – Under 7 Boys team
U8G – Under 8 Girls teams
U8B – Under 8 Boys teams
Silver Division – All U9 boys and girls teams, all U10 girls teams, and one U10 boys team
Gold Division – Most U10 boys teams, U12/14 boys teams, U12/14 girls teams
An extra U7/8 field was added for the tournament. It is designated as Field CH on the schedule, and is located in the grassy area next to the PCSI clubhouse (between the parking lot and complex road).
Every effort was made to assure that during pool play, coaches with multiple teams do not have both teams playing in the same time slot (i..e., no coach should have two games at once). However, since we don’t know who will make it to semi-final or final games, we could not make that assurance for those games.
Thanks for the participation and GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!
